About Nav Prabhat Jan Sewa Sansthan

NAV PRABHAT JAN SEWA SANSTHAN is registered Non Profitable  non-governmental  voluntary organization registered under Societies  Registration act XXI of 1860 (Regd. No-1099/1998-99 dated December 15,1998-99)

We hear and read a lot about women empowerment in debates, articles, speeches etc, however, Nav Prabhat Jan Sewa Sansthan (NPJSS) is one such powerful organization that stands high in working toward it. They focus on women and girls because they are disproportionately affected by poverty and discriminations, and suffer abuse and violations in the realization of their rights, entitlements, access and control over resources. Nav Prabhat Jan Sewa Sansthan (NPJSS) has been working for over 20 years, focusing on women empowerment, Women Health, Nutrition, Vocational Training, Water and Sanitation, and social injustice. In short, they do what many of us just think!

Their common development themes include proper sanitation& Swachta, Water Conservation & water pollution, health and nutrition, etc. NPJSS work hard to explain the importance of hygiene in life as well as the ill-effects of being unhygienic. Due to rapid urbanization, it is very essential to have an understanding of such basic rules, especially in the areas where this kind of knowledge is hardly available.

Tobacco is one of the major concern for the society today, responsible for lots of disease including cancer and pollution. Our sole motto is to make India a tobacco free nation targeting all the slums as well as the posh areas in our country. Our movement focuses on improving the health of a person, thus, making him/her more productive towards the family and the nation. And, we strongly believe that a healthy person contributes more to the community and eventually, a nation.

Under the programme TOBACCGO the organization helping people to quit the usage of tobacco products. TOBACCGO aims at providing information and guidance to the people who are stuck in the loop of this deadly addiction. We spread awareness about its harmful effects and also provide counseling to the addicted audience with proper treatment.
